Izaya and Namie, A Crazy Relationship

So this is about my favorite two partners in crime, Izaya and Namie regarding their relationship, since their both very interesting villains, a King and a Queen. A Joker and an Ace. both are good at what they does. he who loves humans and she who loves her brother, both are obsessed.

Izaya Orihara is rich, handsome, independent, strong, athletic, highly intelligent and is obsessed with all of humanity, he will do screw up as many lives as possible just to get the reaction that he wants from them. he is the mastermind behind many of the events that happened in the series and is Shizuo's rival for life. In short he is strong, intelligent and crazy.

Then Namie

Namie Yagiri is intelligent, independent, beautiful and knows how to defend herself when it all comes down to it. Being the former head of the Yagiri Pharmaceuticals, Namie is not only capable of managing an entire company on her own, but protect, stalk and spoil her little brother at the same time, all while hiding illegal experiments on humans and on Celty's Head. Namie is perhaps the first villain of Durarara along with Izaya.

Despite being an Izaya X Namie fan myself, their relationship might not be really what Izaya X Namie fans are hoping for. it might be more complicated than a mere girl loves boy type of relationship.

Although Izaya X Namie fans are of course always hoping for something like this.

We will always get something like this.

But this still begs the two question for me.

First, Does Izaya "love" Namie?

Though, he did say that he loves Namie the same way he loves his precious humans, we know, his definition of "love" is how a child loves his toys rather a good relationship kind of love. but I think he does "love" her more than others. Izaya to me, seems to enjoy Namie's company, teasing Namie all the time about her brother since he knows that she is absolutely obsessed with Seiji. Most fans said that this is to turn her away from Seiji, but I think this is to fuel her obsession with Seiji. Izaya might see Namie as someone who is obsessed with a human, not all of humanity like himself, but at least Namie is obsessed with a single human. Namie, without even noticing it herself is similar to Izaya. 

They are both obsessed, and Izaya loves this, hence why he likes keeping Namie and respects her. He see's her as someone who is as close as a companion as he can get.

In a way Namie does fill an empty void within Izaya

Second is, Does Namie has any feelings for Izaya?

Love, probably not, sorry to say. but she does seem respect Izaya to a certain extent. she does consider Izaya's skill as an information broker since she went to him when his men and the police failed to find his brother.

She did also once called him "the king that she serves". so she does recognize him as her boss and superior. Despite Namie's bossy attitude, she does show some slight fear towards Izaya.

Namie also knows quite a lot about Izaya's personal life. She knows that Izaya is incredibly annoyed at his two sisters and that Izaya is lonely. She does use this against him when she can. Izaya later calls her "a force to be reckoned with", further gaining more respect from Izaya.

So maybe in the end a romantic Izaya and Namie relationship isn't really possible, as Izaya is to obsessed with his love with the rest of humanity and Namie to obsessed with her love for her brother. Izaya would not even love Namie in the off chance that Namie falls in love with him, since Namie is no longer interesting for him, she would be just a normal human for him. while Namie will never like Izaya due to her own pride and her own obsession with her brother. Perhaps the best thing that we can hope between them is respect and interest in each other's secrets and weaknesses. But certainly will most likely never have a romantic relationship as they are just too damn crazy.

Manhwa Villains Who Can Give Manga Villain a Run For Their Money

There have been a lots of good villain in Korean Manga lately, though many are familiar with the like of Freeza, Aizen, Naraku and Blackbeard. There are villains in Manhwa(Korean Manga) that can give them a run for their money. this guys are certainly not far from some the most evil villains that we are familiar of.


Dr. Crombel(Noblesse)

Dr, Crombel is one if not the main antagonist of the Noblesse series. At first look perhaps he might give the impression of a professor due to his calm posture and intelligence.  

But Dr. Crombel is many things. First it is thought that he is just a Mad Scientist loyal to a secret organization known as the Union, then it is revealed that he is also a powerful modified human himself. And later on as it turns out, Crombel is not so loyal to The Union and is planning to take over himself, he has spies in every branch of the organization, he knows everyone's moves.

Crombel sneaky nature is perhaps what makes him to be such a frightening opponent, he doesn't fight himself, he uses other people for himself and always get the spoils once all is done. Despite being able to fight Frankenstein, Crombel is far from the strongest. this makes him different from the other villains. Although he is powerful, he still prefers to manipulate others to do the dirty work for him.

Another thing about Crombel is how he outwits many other intelligent villains in the series. Even though Crombel is not part of the betrayal against the Noblesse, he is definitely catching up. At this point he is already responsible for many events and conflicts that happened in the series and he has always manage to get away with most of it.

Sang Man Duk (God of High School)

One of the main antagonist of the God of High School, Sang Man Duk also known as Bishop Caliose, is quite capable of being a magnificent bastard himself. He is a type of an overly religious villain, to the point that he wants to exterminate all of humanity due to them being filthy creatures, ungrateful towards the gods. He basically wants to conduct Armageddon. 

It's still not exactly clear whether he is really loyal to the gods or just wants Armageddon since he really hates humanity as a whole for reasons yet unknown.

Sang Man Duk might be insane but one thing he has is charisma, his followers are absolutely amazed at him, they are more loyal to him than their actual leader The King, since the King doesn't really do much most of the time and it is Sang Man Duk who conducts the actual plans of their organization.

Ignes Kravei(Noblesse)

This bitch gets lots of points as one of the most hated character in the series, its not that hard to hate her. She has harm and conducted brutal experiment on many of the series favorite characters such as Rael, Regis, Seira and lately M 21 who has an army of fangirls, as pissed as hell at Ignes. Ignes along with the late 9th elder is responsible for many of the monstrous experiments conducted by the Union to increase their power, it is said that she has mastered all of the 9th elder's science and with the death of her father Roctis, she now has a Soul weapon of her own. 

Rachel(Tower of God)

One of the main villains of the Tower of God series. she is like Ignes is one of the most hated character in her own series. She not only betray Baam but many other innocent characters as well. Rachel is definitely not to be underestimated, she already manage to fool Koon not once but twice.

Lagus Tradio(Noblesse

Another villain from the Noblesse series. Despite his short appearance in the series, Lagus Tradio is the one who has conducted the most damage so far. He killed a clan leader, heavily damaged Lukedonia and worn out the Noblesse life force once again in their single fight. He not just other Nobles but his fellow clan members as well.

Hoaqin(Tower of God)

One of the main villain of the Hell Train Arc in Tower of God, Hoaqin. not only did he sacrifice his own brothers and sisters to gain more power, he sacrificed 1 billion people for himself and conducted War in order to achieve all the necessary souls he need.


The King(God of High School)

One of the main villain of the God of High School series. the king for centuries have been using humans for millions of years to take away their life force and add it to himself and his followers. He is responsible for many wars throughout history in order to kill many humans so that he can take away their souls or life force, this certainly qualifies him as someone evil.

Matches in Bleach I Wish Happened

Bleach is going to end soon, and I thought I should post this, some of the matches that I hope would've happen while I was following the series.



Yhwach Elite vs Zero Division Rematch

VS

This is really what I was hoping for, since the Zero Division has been hyped about so much early on the series. It is even mentioned that their combined might is much greater than the entire Gotei 13 put together despite having only five members. Yhwach Elite are also quite powerful when their powers has been finally revealed. it would have been a much better character development for the Elite Sternritters and the Zero Divison to have had a rematch, or the Zero could have a few help with some of ichigo's friends.


Sternritter "N "Robert Accutrone vs Shunsui Kyouraku Rematch

VS

This is another rematch that I was really hoping would happen since the beginning of the Thousand Year Blood War, since this match was kinda hyped at first with Robert actually taking Shunsui other eye. He should've at least got even with him. Robert is also one of the early Sternritters yet, we never to see what his powers are.


Sternritter O "The Overkill" Driscoll Berci vs Zaraki Kenpachi

VS

First of all I know, by the end of the series, Kenpachi is much much more powerful due to his bankai. But when I found out about Sternritter O's power I can't help but think that he and Kenpachi are a match made in heaven. Driscoll's power is to become more and more powerful every time he kills, while Kenpachi becomes more powerful after every fight and when he survives death. It's a pity Kubo didn't made this two fought each other, Driscoll could've had a good character development if he did manage to be strong enought to rival Kenpachi.

Sternritter V " The Visionary" Gremmy Thoumeuax vs Aizen Sousuke

VS

For me this would have been a much better match up than Kenpachi vs Gremmy, since their both reality warpers. Also, the Sternritters were reluctant to use Gremmy in the war while the Shinigami were reluctant to use Aizen in the war. Both of them also have Insane Reiatsu and Hax Abilities. Aizen can make control all your five senses with illusions and Gremmy can make his illusion a reality. One who can bring you to a world that he imagined and one who can bring his imaginations to your world. In a way they are both visionaries.

Sternritter H "The Heat" Bazz B vs Kuchiki Rukia and Hitsugaya Toshirou

VS

Bazz B's character was really ruined for me, he was really bad ass when he first appeared. with Toshirou losing to him, I was really hoping that Toshirou would have a rematch with him with Rukia tag teaming him. It became even more ridiculous when it was revealed that Toshirou still had a trick up his sleeve and he didn't use it in his previous fight with Bazz B. Bazz B could've had a good character development if this had happened. It would prove that his fire really is close to the power of the late Yamamoto Genryusai himself.

One Piece: Possible Arcs After the "Vs The Four Emperor's Arc"

One Piece is probably one of the most unpredictable shounen manga out there, unlike other shounen manga's like Naruto and Bleach, where fans do get to predict what's gonna happen next, One Piece despite going on for such a long time already, still has a lot of surprise in store for its fans. But that still doesn't stop us fans from trying to speculate what's gonna happen next because its fun anyway.

So here I would like to talk about what other Arcs could be possible after the currently on going "Vs The  Four Emperor's Arc".

A Mariejois Arc.

For a while I'm one of those people who agree that an Arc involving Mariejois might be saved till the very end of the manga, and that the final war will occur in here. After all this place is far too important, with the World Nobles, Gorosei and World Government Commander in Chief Kong being here, as well as the Reverie being held in this place. But lately I think we really might get an arc or a at least a small arc focused on Mariejois. Due to 3 reasons that I can think of.

1. The Reverie is about to be, or is already being held in the manga. Its possible that something important is about to happen during the meeting that could disrupt the balance of the world.

2. The World Nobles have been revealed as the one that's really in charged in the world government, their even higher than the Gorosei, but i don't think their a good final villain, so they might get taken out before Akainu and being the the leader of the Marines the largest faction of the World Government he could becomes its leader through emergency powers, depending on the situation. This Theory does bring lots of problems though.


3. This place holds some important secrets that is most likely related to the Void Century, but its still not the final island, but it might contain important information what really occurred during the Void Century seeing that the Gorosei do have have some knowledge of it.

A Raftel Arc

Another possible Arc with the revelation of the Road Poneglyph is that we might actually get a Raftel Arc. They could actually get all the Road Poneglyph in the current Arc and find the location of Raftel next.

A CP-0 Arc

This organization is getting a lot of hyped lately, being involved and playing a huge role in Dressrosa Arc. Their also tailing the Revolutionaries themselves, Dragon even warned his men to watch out for the Cipher Pol as its gaining a lot of strength lately. They were also involved in the fight against the Revolutionaries and the Blackbeard Pirates. We might get to know more about them soon, and they might even have their own personal plans. We still know very little about them at this point aside from their new members Spandam and Rob Lucci, but they do seem to be very dangerous and at least Admiral level in power given that they serve the World Nobles directly.

The Last Road Poneglyph Arc

With the last Road Poneglyph's  location being unknown, we might also get an Arc in search for the last important stone, since it seems that even the Four Yonkou's don't know where it's located. The location of the last Road Poneglyph might be difficult to go to and is worth being an entire arc since the revelation of Raftel's location and how to get there might be too surprising.

A Monkey D. Dragon Arc

With Dragon's disappearance and the Revolutionaries HQ being destroyed, Dragon might actually make his move soon. In his last appearance he did ask to call all the top leaders of the Revolutionaries. We're still not sure if he and Luffy are gonna get along when they meet, after all Dragon is the leader of the revolutionary and Luffy is the future Pirate King, they might have some disagreements on their principles.

Enel's Return Arc

This is much unlikelier than the others, but I'm just hoping that Oda didn't show Enel's Space Adventure for no reason. Enel might still be relevant to the overall story, since he found an ancient kingdom that seems to have important secrets of its own. He might return on his own or the Straw hats might have some reason to go to Space and encounter him, I wouldn't put this beyond Oda to do as they did manage to go to Skypiea, there might be a way for them to get to Space. If Enel does return, I hope he have some new tricks against Luffy and his crew.



Note:This are just my thoughts and it all could be wrong since Oda Eichirou is a very good writer and very unpredictable, I'm still surprised that the Kozuki Clan are the ones who made the Ponegylphs, I did not see that coming at all. Most likely there are more surprise from Oda

My Top Ten Anime Chefs

Note: Many characters on this list aren't really chef by profession, others are still students, but has great skills


10. Usui Takumi(Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama)

Not really a chef, more like a one time chef. since he became just a chef once on an emergency, But he definitely has the skills for it. How he slice every single ingredients, crack that damn egg and cooked it.

In just one scene in one episode, he proves how great of a cook he is. though that's how Usui always does it in just about everything else that he does.

9. Rin Okumura(Ao No Exorcist)

Rin Okumura is also not really a professional chef, more like it became one his many jobs. But he showed himself from time to time to be quite proficient at it.

As a matter of fact he has been cooking, ever since he was just a little toddler, so that at least shows that he has lots of experience in cooking already by the time that the series started, he really looks adorable as child.

Even at his time in True Cross Academy he still continues to cook when he can. so even though he might not be a chef by profession, he definitely has the skills to be a great one in case he chooses to pursue it.

8. Teuchi(Naruto)

Any list about cooking in anime couldn't be complete without this guy of course, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen, Teuchi. The guy whose ramen is wanted by all, ninja's, assasins, criminals, students, and many more, not just in Konoha but also those from other countries. probably the best ramen maker in anime history. His ramen just by watching the anime is just mouth watering.

Naruto probably won't be able to overcome some of his dark moments without Ichiraku Ramen. So in a way his cooking is partly responsible for saving the entire Ninja World. how can any ramen compete with that.

7. Sebastian Michaelis (Kuroshitsuji)

A bit unfair and somewhat of an overkill for others in this list since Sebastian is a Demon who can put everything into perfection, hence why I decided to put him a bit low on this list. Being the butler of the Phantomhive Family, and with the actual chef Bard being unable to cook, Sebastian is technically also the Chef of the Phantomhive House Manor.

As someone who serve Aristocrats and those high in society, each food that he serve must always be at high class and without fail. from breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts and even the midnight snacks of his spoiled master.

He even at one time beat Indians at their own specialty which is curry, by making his own creation. A curry bread with their Phantomhive chocolate inside it. which looks really delicious.

6. Sanji(One Piece)

Samji, the Straw Hat Pirates one and only cook. As the first real professional chef in this list, Sanji is the former sous chef for Red Leg's Baratie, Sanji now dreams of finding the All Blue the chef's paradise. To appreciate Sanji as a cook. 1. their always at sea, 2.sometimes they barely have any good ingredients, 3. he has to feed their Captain Monkey D. Luffy who has a ginormous appetite, 4. the rest of the crew, 5. impress Namie and Robin with his cooking from time to time and lastly 5.make sure that the kitchen is always in good shape.

How can he not be a good chef? He's not just a good chef, he's an awesome chef.



5. Komatsu(Toriko)

Komatsu the partner of Toriko. by now he is already one the top chefs in Toriko world and at such a young. being able to cook ingredient that many would thought to be inedible or impossible to cook, Komatsu is already an excellent chef at a very young age. he has also cooked dishes in the world of Toriko what many think would take hundreds to thousands of years to prepare in just a matter of years or even just days, with only a very few help from other chefs.

And of course, all of this putting in consideration that he has to cook for the likes of Toriko, Zebra and Midora. who all has monstrous, nearly unbelievable,insane appetite. who's hunger is so hard to satisfy. but he does so anyway. Komatsu though he may not look like it, is one insanely talented chef.

4. Ajiyoshi Yoichi(Mr. Ajikko)

Being the main character of one of first anime that is all about cooking Ajiyoshi deserves to be high on this list despite being maybe out of date already. Despite being so young, he already goes up against many grown up talented chefs throughout the series. Not only that, with his family being poor, he most of the time has no real access to top notch ingredients. Impressing the great Murata Genjiro in their first encounter with only the ingredient available in their small restaurant, is already itself a great accomplishment and that just in the first episode.

3. Liu Mao Hsing(Cooking Master Boy)

Cooking Master Boy is perhaps my favorite Cooking Anime when I was young, and its main character Mao never failed to amaze me every time. Being born in Ancient China at an Era known as Cooking Wars Mao at a young age certainly has to face a lot of competition as everyone in this age aims to be on top. being already a chef at his mother's restaurant at a young age, Mao is a prodigious cook, not to mention throughout the series, mysterious organization use underhanded methods most of the time to win against their opponents yet Mao still manages to trump them all. In cooking Mao is someone who can put almost everything in consideration including the culture, climate and other factors that can affect the appetite of those whom he served his dishes too, despite his talent he is always very innovating and improvising

The only problem with Mao is that he is limited in Chinese Cuisines during his time, otherwise if he might be even higher on this list.

2. Azuma Kazuma(Yakitate Japan)

My favorite pastry chef in anime, and probably others personal favorite as well. Azuma Kazuma's personality is not hard to love. He is energetic,funny, talented, humble and yet ambitious. His goal is to make the best Ja-pan, bread of his creation which he hopes will one day represent Japan and be known throughout the world.

Azuma Kazuma has a certain talent known as Solar Hands. which helps many incredible breads. throughout the series he has continiously made unbelievable creative versions of his Ja-pan. One of his greatest accomplishment is that when one of the Judge ate his Ja-pan, it was so delicious that the Judge actually went to heaven, in effect he died because of how delicious it was.If that alone doesn't speak of how great of a pastry chef he is, just watch the series since he has more to offer.

1. Yukihira Souma

One of the most popular chefs in anime today, Yukihira Souma is the successor of the Yukihira Restaurant, being the son of its owner Yukihira Joichirou. Already a talented chef at the start of the series, he aims to surpass he's father one day, despite his almost 500th lost to him. But as it turns out before he can do that, he must first survive the school that his father enrolled him in Tootsuki Academy, where he is pitted not just against fellow child prodigy chefs like himself but survive tests from it Allumni who are now big on the culinary world, as this is the Academy's way of further imrproving its students. Only the greatest and most talented chefs survive in that Academy and now Souma determined to surpass his old man aims to be on top.
